I recently had the pleasure of photographing Molly and Akilan’s beautiful fall wedding at The Lafayette Club, and let me tell you, it was a dream! From the getting ready moments to the stunning ceremony outside and the elegant reception in the grand ballroom, every detail was just perfect. Let me take you through the highlights of their special day!

Getting Ready with Their Bridal Parties

The day started off with a buzz of excitement as I captured Molly and her bridesmaids getting ready in the bridal suite. The room was filled with laughter, champagne toasts, and the sound of hair dryers and makeup brushes busy at work! Meanwhile, Akilan and his groomsmen were suiting up and sharing jokes in a separate room. I made sure to capture all the candid moments and details that made this time so special.

Bride and Groom Portraits Outside

Once everyone was dressed, we headed outside for the bride and groom portraits. The autumn colors provided a gorgeous backdrop, with the leaves creating a warm and setting for Molly and Akilan. They were so natural in front of the camera, with their love and joy shining through in every shot. The way they looked at each other was pure magic, and it made my job an absolute dream!

Ceremony Outside

The ceremony took place outside, under a canopy of trees that added a touch of enchantment. As Molly made her entrance with her dad, I saw Akilan smile bigger than I have ever seen before! They shared their vows, exchanged rings, and before we knew it, Molly and Akilan were pronounced husband and wife! The joy on their faces was priceless, and I made sure to capture every moment as they walked back down the aisle as a married couple.

Reception in the Grand Ballroom

After the ceremony, we moved inside to the grand ballroom for the reception. The room was elegantly decorated with twinkling lights, floral centerpieces, and a dance floor ready for a night of celebration. The first dance was nothing short of magical. After the speeches, they cut the cake, and then it was time to party! I had a blast capturing the genuine emotions and candid moments that made this part of the day so special.

In the end, Molly and Akilan’s fall wedding at The Lafayette Club was a day to remember. As a photographer, it was an honor to be a part of their special day and to capture the love and joy that filled every moment. Here’s to the newlyweds and the beautiful journey ahead of them!
