I recently had the pleasure of photographing Jenna and Jake’s stunning outdoor wedding in the charming town of Chetek, Wisconsin. The day was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments that I was honored to capture through my lens! Every single moment was filled with so much joy and excitement! It was definitely a day I will never forget.

Getting Ready for the Big Moment

Jenna and Jake chose to get ready separately, adding an element of anticipation and excitement to the day. As I moved between their respective spaces, I could feel the nervous energy building as they prepared to see each other for the first time. The way their faces lit up when they finally laid eyes on each other was priceless!

The First Look

The first look is always a special moment to photograph, and Jenna and Jake’s was no exception. They chose a picturesque spot under a canopy of trees, where the soft, light created a dreamy atmosphere. Jake’s expression when he turned around to see Jenna in her stunning gown was pure magic. Following the first look, we immediately moved into capturing the bride and groom portraits. The natural beauty of the outdoor setting provided the perfect backdrop for these intimate and romantic shots. Jenna’s flowing veil and Jake’s beaming smile made my job as a photographer so easy!

The Ceremony

The outdoor ceremony was absolutely beautiful! Jenna glided down the aisle on her father’s arm, while Jake stood at the altar, his eyes never leaving his bride. The vows were so beautiful, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house (including me!). After they exchanged the rings, they finally sealed their love with a kiss, and everyone cheered so loud!

The Reception

After the ceremony, the festivities moved to the reception area, where guests were treated to games, a well-stocked bar, and a dance floor! The love and joy that filled the air were palpable, and I made sure to capture every smile, every hug, and every candid moment that made the celebration so special. As the night wore on, a gentle rain began to fall, casting a dreamy sheen over the outdoor venue. Instead of seeking shelter indoors, Jenna and Jake embraced the moment and took to the dance floor, twirling and laughing in each other’s arms. It was a sight straight out of a fairytale, and I felt so privileged to document such a beautiful and spontaneous moment between the newlyweds.

In the end, Jenna and Jake’s outdoor wedding day in Chetek, WI, was a perfect blend of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. As a photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a more magical day to capture, and I’m grateful to have been a part of their special moment.
