Getting Ready

Getting ready in a cozy cabin with epic Lake Superior views? Talk about a dream start! Leilen, her mom, sister, and best friend had the ultimate glam session—hair, makeup, and all the finishing touches, plus a sweet surprise when Matt’s mom gifted her a family heirloom bracelet. Meanwhile, the guys kept it classic—aka, hanging out and keeping it chill until it was time to throw on their suits. No stress, just good vibes and lots of excitement for the big moment ahead! A Dreamy Wedding on the Shores of Lake Superior indeed began with these moments.

The First Look & Portraits

Leilen and Matt’s first look was pure magic and their portraits immediately after was —beautiful, fun, and just the right amount of saucy! The moment they saw each other, the smiles were unstoppable, the laughter was contagious, and the love was undeniable. They were totally up for anything, adventuring along the rocky Lake Superior shore, stealing sweet (and spicy!) moments on their special day. Their ceremony was everything—sweet, heartfelt, and full of happy tears. With their own vows, a few laughs, and all the love, it was the perfect lead-up to an epic reception. Every angle was picture-perfect, and it was pure joy watching family and friends soak in the moment. Of course, there were plenty of jokes about how Matt worked his magic, turning Leilen into a completely unexpected outdoorswoman—starting with one of their very first dates… fishing! Leilen and Matt’s wedding details were on point! Their color palette of green, white, brown, and yellow was the perfect match for the cozy, rustic cabin vibes of The Grand Superior Lodge. Seriously, such a dreamy setup! Leilen was an absolute stunner – her super long veil from Xandy’s Bridal House was giving main character energy and with her being so tiny, it just made her look even more adorable. And that ring, total showstopper! Matt kept things clean and classy with his polished shoes, simple tie, and belt – effortlessly cool and stylish. And can we talk about that bouquet from Flora North in Duluth, MN?! A gorgeous mix of daisies, roses, and baby’s breath (I think? But whatever it was, it was STUNNING). It was simple, a little wild, a little romantic, and just like their day -pure magic! It truly was love on the lake.

What a Day

Leilen and Matt’s day was straight-up magical – cozy cabin vibes, epic Lake Superior views, and allll the love. From their super sweet first look to their laughter-filled vows (fishing date jokes included!), every moment was pure gold.
