Catholic Church Wedding Day in Minnesota | Kathryn + Joshua

I recently had the pleasure of capturing Kathryn and Joshua’s beautiful Catholic Church wedding day in Minnesota, and let me tell you, it was truly a day to remember. They decided to have their ceremony at the Guardian Angels Catholic Church, and the reception followed at the Olympic Hills Golf Club in Eden Prairie. Both locations were picture perfect for what the couple wanted! I’m so honored that they trusted me to capture their day. So, let’s dive into the details!

Getting Ready:

The day started with the bride and groom preparing for their special day in separate areas. Kathryn looked absolutely stunning in her lace gown, while Joshua looked sharp in his tailored suit. They were each surrounded but their bridal parties and parents and it made it such a special start to the day. The excitement and anticipation in the air were palpable as they got ready to say “I do”!

First Look:

One of my favorite parts of the day was capturing Kathryn and Joshua’s first look. The joy and love that radiated from them as they saw each other for the first time was truly a sight to behold. It was a tender moment that I was honored to witness and capture. They both had instant tears, and yes even I was a little teary behind the camera! We took some time to capture some breathtaking photos of the bride and groom after they shared private vows. The beautiful grounds of the Guardian Angels Catholic Church provided the perfect backdrop for these photos, and Kathryn and Joshua’s love for each other truly shone through in every shot.

Ceremony:

The Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Chaska, MN provided a truly stunning setting for Kathryn and Joshua’s ceremony. The grandeur of the church was absolutely incredible! The venue combined with the love and devotion of the couple made for a truly heartfelt and special ceremony. It was a joy to witness them exchange vows and become husband and wife!

Reception:

The celebration continued at the Olympic Hills Golf Club in Eden Prairie, MN, where friends and family gathered to toast the newlyweds. The venue was beautifully and perfectly decorated, and the food was delicious! After everyone made their grand entrances, the newlyweds made their way to the dance floor for their first dance. Afterwards, there were beautiful toasts, and then the dance floor was full all night long! It was a night of incredible memories that will last a lifetime.

Kathryn and Joshua, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day and capture all the love and joy that surrounded you. From the heartfelt moments during the sweet first look, the heartfelt ceremony, and lively reception, every aspect of their day was perfect.
